When I’m not digging the record crates at your local antique mall, I’m out tramping along looking for something unique to photograph. My love for art stretches across many mediums, but music holds the largest footprint within me.
I play many instruments and teach them to others when I’m able. In recent years, I’ve incorporated photography into my artistic expression. Now, I’ve decided to meld the two mediums together in a way that both pleases the eyes and the ears. Each photo I post will list an accompanying song, playlist, or album to exemplify the mood I feel the photo brings.
All the music I mention comes from my own CD, record, cassette, and digital file collection. I host my own Plex server for my music, but convert my playlists to Deezer for a better experience for readers. You’re welcome to recreate or copy them over to your streaming platforms. I prefer to slow down and appreciate the songs and images, sometimes one at a time. I’d be happy to send you a mixtape sometime ;).
